The Claas Xerion 2500 was offered in 1997 as a brand new idea – tractor as a system car.
It was distinguished by the flexibility to set the cabin in three positions: central, rear and rear-right. The Xerion’s energy supply is a 6-cylinder diesel
turbocharged, liquid-cooled engine with a capability of 8.7 liters and the drive is transmitted by a stepless hydromechanical gearbox designed by Claas engineers – HM8.
In 1999, the tractor underwent a facelift. Along with the visible modifications, the engine energy was elevated by 15 HP. The collection was produced till 2004.
